Mohammad-Mahmoud Mohamedou

Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou est professeur d’histoire internationale et responsable du Département d’histoire internationale au Graduate Institute à Genève, ainsi que professeur invité à l’école doctorale de Sciences Po Paris. Précédemment été directeur associé du programme de politique humanitaire et de recherches sur les conflits de l’Université Harvard à Cambridge au Massachusetts. Il est l’auteur d’une trilogie sur l’après-11 Septembre – Contre-Croisade: Le 11 Septembre et le Retournement du Monde (2004), Understanding Al Qaeda: Changing War and Global Politics (2011) et A Theory of ISIS: Political Violence and the Transformation of the Global Order (2018) – ainsi que de Iraq and the Second Gulf War : State-Building and Regime Security (2002) et coéditeur de Democratization in the 21st Century (2016). Il reçoit le prix Distinguished Scholar Award 2021 de l’International Studies Association (ISA).
